    Ken Godfrey - President & CEO
    Prior to establishing Life Insurance Financial Evaluations, LLC in 2010, Ken Godfrey spent over thirteen years in the life insurance industry focused on the specialty areas of executive compensation/benefits and wealth transfer/estate planning.  Throughout his career, Ken has managed teams of financial analysts responsible for benefit plan projections and the advanced case design, implementation, and service of individually owned, trust owned life insurance (TOLI), corporate owned life insurance (COLI), bank owned life insurance (BOLI), and split dollar life insurance plans.  Ken has a keen understanding of life insurance products, their use and design in complex financial plans, and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to summarize and present results in an understandable fashion.  Ken has a passion for helping agents increase their sales, assisting insurance agencies/carriers to improve their operations, and educating consumers on the value and ongoing policy management responsibilities of owning insurance products.

    • Project Integration Manager for Performix Consulting in Reston, VA
    • Managing Director/Technical Advisor for McNair & Company in McLean, VA
    • Dual roles of President & Chief Compliance Officer for Wachovia Insurance Services Broker Dealer, Inc. and Vice President, Manager of Advanced Markets for Wachovia Insurance Services, Inc. in Charlotte, NC
    • Director – Design & Analysis for The Todd Organization in Greensboro, NC

    Ken's professional designations and certifications include Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) from The American College, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification from the CFP Board of Standards, and the Project Management Professional (PMP)®  credential from the Project Management Institute (PMI).  He graduated from North Carolina State University in 1996 with a B.A. in Business Management and a Minor in Statistics.
