Life Expectancy Analysis Report

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is it?

A Life Expectancy Analysis Report includes a mathematical calculation of probability of living based on actuarial mortality tables.  The proprietary model and corresponding report calculates mortality curves based on age, gender, and tobacco use.  The report shows the results in table and chart formats for five different underwriting classifications.  Underwriting classifications available in the model include Super Preferred, Preferred, Standard, Tables 1-8 for both nontobacco and tobacco classifications.

Why it is Important?

Life expectancy calculations can be an important tool to helping policyholders design and manage their life insurance policies.  Permanent products should be designed and managed to ensure the policy is inforce at mortality.  For example, providing guarantees to age 120 or later may result in overfunding a policy based on the insured’s life expectancy probabilities.  Alternatively, if the policy is expected to lapse prior to expected mortality age, additional premiums may be needed to prolong the coverage.  Life expectancy calculations helps provide a mathematical foundation for making such policy management decisions.

 Custom Modeling and Reporting

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is it?

Custom Modeling and Reporting may include comparisons such as Buy Term and Invest the Difference and the High Cost of Waiting.

Why it is Important?

These financial models and reports help consumers properly analyze the tradeoffs and potential results for life insurance plans compared to other investment alternatives.

How do we do it?

Life Insurance Financial Evaluations, LLC builds financial models to compare life insurance policies to other investment alternatives by calculating expected rates of returns, equivalent taxable yields, and net present value calculations.  The results are then summarized in a written report.
